The Kaskaskia river has a wide range of fish.   Bass fishing on the Kaskaskia river has increased, due to the abundant habitat for large mouth bass.  Crappie, Catfish, Bluegill, Carp and other fish species are abundant in the Kaskaskia River.

   The U.S.A. Bassin tournaments are $60 entry per team including Big Bass and a one time $25 membership fee per angler.  The Annual 4-Man Team is a $160 entry per 4 man team and with the side pots could raise the entry to $90 per man. The 4-Man Team is scheduled for 9/25/10.  The 4 man team is 90% payback on entry fee, and 100% on side pots.  There will be a polygraph test in the 4 man as well.
